Job Breif:
We at the Al Tayer Group are looking for an IT Server Analyst - Unix Aix to oversee the installation, maintenance and security of Server, Storage & Data Center, resolve any problems to ensure that the end user system is always operational and meets business requirements of the company from an AIX Unix perseptcive.
The candidate will carry out installation / configuration of windows / AIX Servers SAN, assist in planning and designing the server, storage & data centre requirements, Identify improvement opportunities with in existing systems, Follow up on implemented solutions for enhancement and upgrades, Follow up on implemented solutions for enhancement and upgrades, Attend to escalated issues and determine appropriate action, Manage IT assets related to datacenter, Ensure uptime and security of Datacenter and related equipment , Test and Deploy Patches, updates and SPs as recommended by the Vendor and Ensure compliance to existing Security Policies.
Person Specification:
As a Server Analyst you would have a Bachelors Degree in IT along with certification in AIX Unix Servers and ITIL process knowledge along with 4 to 6 years experience in managing servers with a specialisation in UNIX AIX and back up technologies.
You would have IT Process knowledge and technical and analytical ability along with excellent interpersonal skils.
