Job Details
Responsible for all civil infrastructure and roads related activities. Check and review the submittals shop drawings, material, and method statement for the proper construction and quality implementation at job site and laboratory. Check and review ITP plans and specifications for the proper construction and quality implementation at job site and laboratory. Perform pre-inspection to ensure that all installed materials are within the standard in conformance to applicable drawings and specifications Render monitoring and surveillance on site to control the quality of works being implemented by the construction group Establishes, coordinates and monitors the laboratory quality control program Works closely with section supervisors to plan, schedule and implement QC related activities Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports as required. Ensure the ISO Standards being followed Ensure that Mix Design Testing as per Standard Responsible for the construction activities of earthworks, sub-grade, sub-base, concrete and asphalt, sewerage, stormwater drainages, irrigation works potable water kerb stones, crush barriers, road signs, pavement marking and protection of existing services
Requirements
A Dubai based Roads & Infrastructure Consulting Engineers having on-going projects at Dubai Roads and Infrastructures development, is looking for Material Engineer, the required position must have “RTA Approval” (if you don’t have please don’t waste your time), must have minimum 10 yrs. abroad experience in Roads and Infrastructure projects, having leadership capabilities to motivate the people to carry out instructions, well knowledgeable in road site activities and can lead the Contractor based on the project specifications, well knowledgeable in DM Procedures and RTA standards .
