The Location: Islamabad, Pakistan
The Team: We are closely knitted Architecture team, looking for SOA Engineer (Integration & Messaging Platform). We analyse, design, implement, and support a number of key business critical systems. We work on messaging platform background and provide day-to-day operational support, design, deployment and further improvements.

Responsibilities:
- You will gain hands-on experience with services oriented architecture (SOA), API Gateways (APIGee, SoapStation or AXWay), ESB and middleware messaging platform such as Kafka, Sonic MQ, Tibco, IBM MQ or Informatica Ultra Messaging.
- Your workflow will include Brokers, Queues, Topics and brokerless live peer-to-peer data streaming.
- Platform support meeting our uptime SLA and regular conducting maintenance following the practices and standards established in the company.
- You will respond to and resolve production support issues in SOA and Messaging platform.
- You will be Building core components and common services based on standard corporate development models, languages and tools.
- You will Produce system design/operational documents and run-books.
- You will Design and build the internal applications interface.
What we’re looking for:
Basic & Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering or equivalent.
- You should have minimum of 3+ years of strong hands-on experience in supporting messaging platform, infrastructure, middleware messaging platform such as Kafka, Sonic MQ, Informatica Ultra Messaging or similar competitive products.
- Deep understanding of SOA concepts and tools – i.e. XML, WSDL, WADL, JSON, Web Services, RESTful services, SOAP, etc.
- Experience in design and deployment of Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) based components for business solutions and integration with deep understanding – i.e. Service abstraction, System Integration, Reusable Designs, etc.
- Significant knowledge of running and administrating Application Servers / Appliance i.e. WebLogic, WebSphere, Tomcat, Soap Station, Forum Sentry, etc.
- Proficient with software development lifecycle (SDLC) methodologies.
- Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Standout colleague and excellent communication/presentation skills
