Group Head Risk Management


This position is based at the Bank’s Head Office in Lahore.

Person profile required:

  • Qualification: Preferablyan MBA or equivalent business degreein finance, accounting or any other related subject.Having additional professional qualification or certification such as CA, CFA, ACCA, ACMA, CISA, CIMA shall be an added advantage.
  • Experience:At least 08 years of relevant experience at middle/senior management level position in risk management function
  • Age: Preferably up to 45 years as on March 31, 2015

Required knowledge, skills and abilities

  • Strong understanding of State bank of Pakistan’s guidelines and prudential regulations;
  • Ability to understand complex financial transactions along with strong knowledge of credit policies and legal documentation;
  • Thorough understanding of various credit appraisal processes and tools;
  • Ability to identify credit risk and devise risk mitigants;
  • Thorough knowledge of treasury, trade finance as well as other banking operations and products;
  • In-depth knowledge of risk management tools and financial risk modelling techniques;
  • Strong understanding of Basel and COSO Framework;
  • Excellent analytical skills, knowledge of financial and accounting principles;
  • Strong understanding of business and economic dynamics;
  • Well-developed leadership, team management and communication skills;
  • Positive thinking, self motivated, and adaptable;
  • Excellent interpersonal, problem solving and decision making skills
